I would also encourage you to have a walk through with your fire chief or deputy to get their input as they are the local officials. Always great opportunity for a cup of coffee and conversation with the officials on something collaborative vs. punitive.

Same intel as Joe and Bill to be cautious…. My experience, for what it is worth, we used to perform beginning of the year base line air sampling in all out buildings based of the usual suspect items by DPH. That way as the year went through we had something to compare if there was an air quality concern later down the road. Better to be proactive than reactive. Keep in mind, early September VOC’s are high with floor wax and gym finish so build yourself in a buffer. All within safe levels for sure as we wouldn’t be opening schools, just later September when kiddos have walked the halls for a couple weeks really give you a good idea.
