I did the volunteer program a few years ago and all I am doing now is the update and retest of the ones that were above the guidelines.

My assistant and I both have take-home vehicles.  The rest of the staff receives a stipend which includes travel for the alarm calls.

We use Water Chemicals Work out of Woburn.  They are great to work with.  Great with communication, reporting and special requests as needed.

We are in the process of building a new school in the next year.  While we were doing the feasibilty study for this construction the architect set up a traffic study on the area that would be impacted.

At  DY the facilities department takes care of the phones.  Not by choice.

We have not opened as yet but it has been a summer to remember for sure!!!!  Mold growing rampant with this humidity, backed up drains, a flooded school thankfully no damage because of a hose being left on all night.  It’s got to get better.  🙂 I can’t wait for the conference to get away.  🙂

We have experienced this and moved them as required. Clearly a poor choice because a student turned it off during a cold snap. Luckily we have building checks on the weekend and it was addressed before there was an issue.

We spoke to our local fire departments and they have ok’d verbally we could put it right inside the doorway. They will not put it in writing because of the fire code.
So we did that and have been ok so far.

If this becomes mandatory in the future we will look into having an alarm connected to the EMS system to notify us the switch has been tampered with.

We applied for two waivers and were denied. We installed one and are in the process of saving funds for the second.

One of them had an alternate setup with all equipment downstairs which was accessible but still we were required to put in a lift.
