Like everyone I am grateful for the MFAA for getting this going, Thank you! I am also wondering if there is any talk about guidelines coming for when school starts in September. (hopefully) We have been hearing rumors about class sizes, kids eating lunch in there classrooms, etc.. Is this being discussed at the state level if so and my hope is MFAA will have some in put.. Any thoughts?

I agree with you, my staff is on a reduced schedule but I want to get them all back for May 5 and have them get a jump on summer cleaning and painting. I don’t see why they can’t back to work with masks and social distancing. As it is my ground grew is going to have start back soon with the grass growing.

We installed the flysence detectors in our high school. We purchased 12 of them for about 7500 and then we installed them ourselves. They need to be run to a POE network switch and then tied into the network so you can revive notifications. There’s also a 5000 a year software cost. Overall they have been a deterrent. We had a lot of bugs to work out in the beginning and we shut the noise notifications part off.

I used it last winter for the first time it was very helpful with snow or ice storms. We use Liquid calcium and we would pre-treat all of the sidewalks and outside stairways. Luckily for us we were able to get as much liquid calcium as needed from the DPW and they charged it to the town snow and ice account. We had no bad experience with it on a cement sidewalks or affecting the landscape.
