Town of Sharon Facilities Supervisor

      The Town of Sharon is seeking a full time (7am-3:30pm, M-F) Facilities Supervisor.

      Responsibilities include managing day to day public building operations, and custodial and skilled trades staff;
      serving as a technical resource to the Superintendent of Public Works and Standing Building Committee to
      identify construction and maintenance needs and develop short- and long-term solutions to improve activities;
      helping to carry out response plans by assisting the DPW Operations Supervisor with overseeing snow removal
      and other emergency response activities; coordinating public building projects; and organizing the work staff
      and contractors to ensure efficient expenditure of Town funds.

      Qualifications and Experience: Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field;
      seven (7) to ten (10) years’ progressively responsible experience in facilities management or building
      construction work, with a minimum of three (3) years in a construction supervisory role or building maintenance
      is preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicable building trades licenses in
      HVAC, plumbing and electrical preferred.

      Starting Salary: $74,000 per year; increasing to $78,540 after one year, plus a generous benefits package.
