BUILDING MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

 

The Town of Sandwich, MA has an immediate opening for a 40 hr/wk Building Maintenance Assistant.  Position reports to the Town’s Public Facilities Department performing a wide variety of maintenance, building repairs, alterations, and cleaning and general upkeep of Town property and facilities.  Candidate will preferably be a licensed electrician, plumber and/or experience with HVAC.  Candidate must be skilled in performing preventative maintenance and repair.  Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license, be responsible, self-motivated and a team player.  Wage:   $27.00 – $29.00 per hour with health insurance and other excellent benefits.   Submit resume and employment application by Friday, April 30, 2021 to “Building Maintenance Assistant Search”, Human Resources Department, 130 Main Street, Sandwich, MA  02563 or e-mail hr@sandwichmass.org.  Applications may be obtained at http://www.sandwichmass.org, by emailing HR, or at the HR Office 8:30-4:30 (M-F) in Town Hall.   Sandwich is an EEO/AA employer.
