      Operations Manager

      The Cape Cod Collaborative is seeking an Operations Manager. The ideal candidate for this full-time,
      year round position will have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering or a related field. Prior
      supervisory and/or management experience required. Knowledge of OSHA regulations required.
      Experience in a school setting is preferred. Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
      Essential functions:
      In coordination with the administrative team (Executive Director, Business Manager, Transportation
      Manager and Director of Special Programs):
       To plan, organize, schedule and participate in the maintenance and operations of the Cape
      Cod Collaborative transportation fleet (currently approximately 170 vehicles);
       To plan, organize, direct, schedule and participate in the maintenance and operations of Cape
      Cod Collaborative facilities including custodial, maintenance and security operations; and
       To provide oversight to a wide variety of skilled and unskilled maintenance tasks.
      Qualifications:
       Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in engineering or related field,
       Minimum of five years of experience,
       Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and other related codes pertaining to schools, student
      transport and public buildings,
       Knowledge of Mass General Laws related to procurement, construction, repair and
      maintenance of public buildings and student transport vehicles (MCPPO certification
      preferred),
       Proficient in the use of technology and software applications, including but not limited to
      email, word processing, spreadsheets and database operations,
       Valid Class D Mass driver’s license (ability to obtain CDL class B with school bus endorsement
      preferred),
       Ability to work both indoors and outdoors,
       Ability to engage in physical aspects of positions, which include but are not limited to climbing
      stairs and ladders, operating tools or controls.
