I believe yes. My opinion is as follows.

A fire door can function independently without being operated mechanically. All fire doors must have a legible label rating on the side of the door and on the frame. A rated door needs to have rated door closure, rated hardware and if they have a vent it must have a fusible link.

    Hi Bob:

I used Chris Contractors from Fryeburg, Maine. Chris can be reached at 207-935-3737. Very reputable, excellent work but not cheap.

    Hi Bob
I have had a student with the cochlear implant for the past 8 yrs. We had an accoustical Eng. come in and tell us what we need to do. the panels we use are mount up at the wall/ceiling juncture. We have to mount a 1 x 4 board to the wall and these pnls hang from it. We also had to get accoustical ceiling tiles. We get the padded chair feet from Wholesale Distribution on the Cape.

The wall panels we buy from Shannon Corp. 978–443–5808. They measure 4′ x 26″ and you can choose a color. DeCoustics out of Toronto makes them and Shannon is their local rep.
The ceiling tiles are the Armstrong 3201 white Nubby Tegular. We use the 2×2.
The wall panels come with the brackets for hanging. Any other questions don’t hesitate to call. 508-634-2217 x 366
